Installation Is a Safety Job, Not a Glass Job
A modern windshield carries up to 30 percent of a vehicle's roof-crush strength and is what the passenger airbag deploys against. If it is bonded with the wrong adhesive or driven before the urethane has cured, it can separate in a collision.
We use automotive-grade urethane rated for Arizona heat, prep and prime the pinch weld properly, and tell you the exact safe drive-away time for the adhesive we used and the temperature on the day. It is usually under an hour, but it is never a guess.

Pinch Weld Preparation
Old urethane is trimmed to a uniform bed, bare metal is primed, and any corrosion is addressed before new glass goes anywhere near it.
The Right Adhesive
High-modulus urethane rated for desert temperatures, applied at the correct bead height so the glass sits at factory depth.
ADAS Recalibration
If your vehicle has lane-keep, adaptive cruise, or automatic braking, the forward camera must be recalibrated after the glass is replaced.

Protect and Remove
Interior and paint are covered, cowl and trim come off cleanly, and the old glass is cut out without damaging the pinch weld.
Prime, Bond, and Set
The frame is primed, fresh urethane is laid at the correct bead, and the new glass is set to factory depth and alignment.
Cure, Recalibrate, and Check
We give you the safe drive-away time, recalibrate ADAS where required, and water-test for leaks before you go.

How long before I can drive after a windshield installation?
It depends on the adhesive and the temperature. Most modern urethanes reach safe drive-away strength in about 30 to 60 minutes in Tucson conditions. We give you a specific time for your vehicle rather than a general rule.
Does my car need ADAS recalibration after a windshield replacement?
If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera behind the windshield for lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, or automatic emergency braking, then yes. Moving that camera even slightly changes its aim, and it has to be recalibrated to work correctly.
Is aftermarket glass as good as dealer glass?
Quality OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass is manufactured to the same DOT safety standards and fits the same. We use OEM-equivalent glass as standard and can source dealer OEM glass on request, which we will quote separately.
Can you install auto glass at my home or workplace?
Yes. Our mobile service covers the Tucson metro area. The main requirement is a reasonably level, sheltered spot, since urethane cure and adhesion are affected by rain and direct blowing dust.
